Research Question
What are the key constraints to pulse grain yields and break crop effects, and how can they be overcome?Research Information & Objectives
SFS hosts the high rainfall zone hub in this state-wide, GRDC-funded project led by Agriculture Victoria Horsham that consists in a series of larger "hub" sites and smaller "spoke" sites in varying environments. In 2021 the HRZ hub focusses on disease management, phenology, canopy management and spring-sown pulse agronomy. Future years will continue to address some of these themes and incorporate others such as soil constraints and weed management.
