Research Question

Build upon the legacy of the work begun in 2012 and continue to explore the effect of crop competition, herbicide intensity and rotation on annual ryegrass control in the HRZ.

Research Information & Objectives

The integrated weed management of herbicide resistant annual ryegrass at Lake Bolac will provide local grain growers and advisers with better tools and techniques to control annual ryegrass in their cropping program. The project treatments only just started to pull apart the farming systems effects from crop and herbicide options so a further 3 years added more powerful data on the value of effective weed management and IWM.
