Research Question
The project is led by NSW Department of Primary Industries supported by funding from Grains Research and Development Corporation. SFS is one of four producer groups responsible for establishment and maintenance of large scale trials. Project funding 2015 to 2019 (site maintenance continues for 2020 & 2021)Research Information & Objectives
What is being done?
• Establish two (2) large scale on-farm experiments on highly acidic soils (pH about 4.0-4.5 at 10-20cm); one each in two consecutive years in 2018 (Rokewood) and 2019 (Stawell).
• Manage and maintain both sites for 2-3 growing seasons after being established and collect data
• The site is to include field days or paddock walks.
• Provide annual report to NSW DPI each year and a SFS representative attend and present key results to steering committee.
