Research Question

To investigate  mapping and monitoring farms using multiple mapping systems of Satellite, EM, Yield Monitor, drones & other sensors to gather the base data linked to the decisions of the time, so when conditions change you can recognise trigger points of change.

Research Information & Objectives

Every farm has more ‘robust’ areas (from frost, better soil types, drainage, waterlogging) but these are not well defined on most farms (but new technology is helping – satellite, EM, yield monitor, drones, sensors etc).  However if they were mapped and monitored, it would make advising on what to grow, where to spend and when to pull the pin much easier.
