Uncertain Times – Freshwater Creek

2024 has been a challenging year on farm in South-West Victoria and 2025 is still uncertain. What do we need to be focusing on?

Producers and industry stakeholders are invited to a workshop at Freshwater Creek this will be an interactive and hands on workshop.

The workshop will explore:

  • Farm Finance – Cashflow & Budgeting with RFCS
  • Pastures – What has survived? Grazing management, Weed management, Nutrient & soil condition, Pasture pests & diseases, Pasture renovation, Water with Southern Farming Systems
  • Winter feed options – AGF Seeds
  • Livestock- Where are you at? Planning for the future, breeding, condition scoring, supplementation requirements, fodder stock-take, animal health with Dr Jane Gaussen, The Livestock Vet
