A major project across Gippsland for the last 10 years has been the Top Soils Project.

The Top Soils project has 5 major delivery partners and focuses on supporting 5 farmer focus groups (geographically located – High Country, Far East, Plains, Foothills, Snowy River) and managing paddock demonstration/trial sites within the areas of the farmer focus groups. In a nutshell it is farmers driving their own learning and adopting better soil management practices, supported by in field trials and demonstrations.

The Top Soils project ends on the 30th June 2023,but fingers crossed the next bid is successful. Read more here…
