Feed on Offer: Measure It, Manage It, Maximise It

This workshop will explore accurately assessing pasture production in paddock, spring fertiliser management, trace elements, and quick forage feed options.
This will be a hands-on workshop in the paddock demonstrating and exploring:

  • Estimating feed on offer and how to take accurate dry matter cuts.
  • Assessing what pastures have survived this year and weed management strategies
  • How to set up fertiliser test strips in your paddock
  • Sowing forage cereals for quick feed on a low budget, with AGF seeds
